I keep my laptop close most of the time, and it normally sits under my monitor stand, since I use my laptop as more of a desktop when I'm at home. It fits my keyboard near perfectly, and I didn't even have to use the tiny sticker things that they include in the packaging to keep the keyboard cover adhered to the laptop. I think that this product has met my expectations. you'll see that this product is very competitively priced.
For what it is (a thing piece of rubber/plastic) it seems kind of expensive, but if you really compare this price to anything else out there on the market. First of all, I think the price is great. Love that it doesn't have a silly logo stamped on the space bar. The lettering on the keys is solid white rather than transparent, so your backlight will not shine through. It does change the haptics of typing on the magic keyboard, but in an almost pleasant way. It fits my keys like a glove and I can barely tell that it's there. Anyhoo, $1600 later, I have a new MacBook and I'm desperate to find a way of preventing history from repeating itself. Then it was less "the solution" and more "the problem".
